To the Editors:
A friend of the Study Circle was good enough to send us used copies of The New York Review of Books. The magazines were interesting, informative, instructive and inspiring—and this we say not for the alliteration but out of conviction and gratitude. But unfortunately the good donor passed away in April, 1969, and his family has discontinued sending the Review. Much as we would like to pay for a subscription, our financial resources do not permit us to do so.
We request you, therefore, to kindly persuade any of your readers to send us used Reviews. These would be shared by a large number of readers besides members of our Study Circle.
Looking forward to hearing from you and thanking you in anticipation.
