Amir Ahmadi Arian is a writer and translator. Formerly a journalist in Iran, he has translated from English into Farsi novels by E.L Doctorow, Paul Auster, P.D. James, and Cormac McCarthy, while also publishing in Farsi two novels of his own, a collection of stories, and a book of nonfiction. He has taught creative writing at NYU and City College, New York, and his first novel in English, Then the Fish Swallowed Him, was published in 2020. (September 2020)
