Claus Leggewie is a political scientist and codirector of the Centre for Global Cooperation Research in Duisburg. He was, until last year, director of the Institute for Advanced Studies in the Humanities in Essen. His most recent book, published in Germany, is Europe First! A Declaration of Independence.  (May 2018)
