David Hoon Kim is a novelist and short story writer who writes in both English and French. He took his first creative writing workshops in France, at the CROUS and at the Sorbonne, before attending the Iowa Writers’ Workshop, the Stegner Program, and the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown. His story “Sweetheart Sorrow” appeared in the 2007 summer fiction issue of The New Yorker, and other fiction has appeared in various French-language publications, including Brins d’éternité, Le Sabord, Brèves, and XYZ La revue de la nouvelle. His novel Paris Is a Party, Paris Is a Ghost is published in August of 2021.
